One of the gifts I made this year for Christmas was a monogram frame for my Bro & SIL.
I could not show sooner for fear that they would see my blog and alas my surprise would be no more.
I started with this frame which I purchased for a $1 at a local thrift store.
Not horrible by any means just not what I was going for.
I liked the white part of the mat but not the peachie-flesh color.
I just used my trusty black paint and painted the frame as well as the mat black.
I gathered a few scrapbook supplies, some ribbon, printed a K and also found a great sheet music
graphic from The Graphics Fairy.
I used the K because of their last name and the sheet music because my Bro writes
music and sings in a band.
Here is the finished product. I love it because it is uniquely for them!
This is a great project any one can tweak and make specifically for someone.
Give it a try you wont be disappointed!

Also I want to say a BIG Thank you to Dena from Sweet Pickles & Chocolate!
I won her give-a-way.
I won these two candleholders! She made them herself! I love them but have not used them for candles yet.
They are the perfect size for snacks. Dena is a very crafty and talented lady. I love the kitchen island she created check it out HERE.
Thanks again Dena!
